She Forum Africa Rounds Up 8th Annual Conference In Abuja

She Forum Africa, a home-grown Pan-Africa Women Development, Leadership & Lifestyle Organisation on Tuesday October 12 2021, held its 8th annual conversation in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.

The organization focuses on the burning need to promote healthy conversations and solutions that will help address persisting issues surrounding the health, safety, integrated development and economic advancement of women and girls.

This year, She Forum Africa worked with the theme; 'Keep Showing up' encouraging women and girls to always dare to dream big and never relent in showing up and endeavor not to be left behind as the world evolves even as they take deliberate steps towards the actualization of their dreams.

The event which lasted for three days kicked off on Sunday 10th October with the Arrivals and Welcome Reception ;a Hybrid Event.

On Monday 11th October, the organization celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child (IDG) 2021 and held a Mentorship & Empowerment Session on ICT for Secondary School Students which was a physical event.

The event hit a Crescendo on Tuesday 12th October with the 8th annual conference, an epic conversation also a hybrid event which was held with brilliant girls and highly impactful women from across the globe.

Ms. Inimfon Etuk, the founder of She Forum Africa while delivering her Welcome Speech said, 'She Forum Africa is a breeding ground for Strengthening Women's aspirations, Leadership and Capacity for sustainable livelihoods.'

When we come together we do so to amplify everyday women, whose voices leadership antecedents, business accomplishments and entrepreneurial feats are disrupting traditional notions of gender, feminism and everything between in their own distinctive ways.

Some members of Young Women in Politics Forum from 9 states in Nigeria were present at the conference while Goodwill messages flowed from; Ms. Comfort Lamptey, the UN Country Representative,Ms. Ulia Muellet, Resident Representative UNFPA, Dr Amina Dorayi Aminu, Country Director, Pathfinder International, Dr Tunji Asaolu Country Representative, African Union - ECOSOCC Nigeria, H.E Johanna Antilla, Deputy Head Of Mission, Embassy Of Finland, Ms, Astrid Cederlov, Rep Embassy Of Sweden, H.E Gill Atkinson, Deputy High Commissioner, British High Commission, H.E Knut Lein, Ambassador of Norway, Dame Pauline K Tallen, OFR KSJ, Honorable Minister of Women Affairs, Nigeria. ,Ms. Cynthia Chineye Odoh, Speaker Voice Of Girls Parliament, Helpline Foundation For The Needy.
